I have been in the racing industry for over 30 years.

I started in racing by working as a bookmakers assistant for my father and then moving on to work for some of the best on-course bookies.

During my time I have made a lot of contacts in the racing industry, trainers, jockeys, stable lads etc.

Over the years I have created strong relationships with these people and built up a network of information.

I have always looked after the people that give me information as they are my life blood, and now that I am a professional gambler it is even more important to spend time with them and look after them.

I normal get up around 6am, study the racing papers over breakfast and then make several phone calls to my contacts. I normally arrive on course early at which ever meeting I am attending that day and set about communicating with my contacts and get the latest fitness checks.

A lot of my time is spent phoning trainers, jockeys, stable lads, (thank heavens for mobile phones) just to check there have been no setbacks that I should be aware of, in exchange I give them information regarding other prospects I have lined up for the day.

I have a small team that created this website and maintain it. As soon as my networking at the racecourse is complete I phone my team and give them my list of the days selections. They then create an email which is sent to all of our clients. We try to get the email to our clients at least half an hour before the first tipped race of the day.

At the end of the days racing I normally meet up with my closer contacts for dinner and drinks and get the latest chatter. If I am staying over for the entire meeting I will normally retire to hotel around 11.30pm ready for the next days racing, if not I will set off home.

The horses I tend to back are those who have had set backs, and now, through training, have started to improve. Because of the setbacks the price about these selections is  normally between 3/1 and 8/1.
